Why Trauma counselling?
Trauma refers to a deeply distressing or disturbing experience that overwhelms an individual's ability to cope, often leaving lasting emotional, psychological, and sometimes physical effects. It can result from a wide range of events, including accidents, abuse, natural disasters, or sudden loss. Trauma affects people differently, influencing their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and may lead to symptoms such as anxiety, depression, flashbacks, or difficulty trusting others. Recognizing and addressing trauma through professional support is crucial for healing and regaining a sense of safety and control.
